New Bedford – Diane L. (Poitras) Curtis, 56, of New Bedford passed away October 21, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Ms. Curtis was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Marcel and Therese (Arguin) Poitras, and resided in the city most of her life. She was employed as a bus driver by Trembaly Bus Company until leaving due to disability. She enjoyed playing computer games.
Survivors include her children: Kelly Ann and Shane Poitras; her brother: Paul J. Poitras; 5 grandchildren: Ashley Lamere, David “DJ” Lamere, Jarred Lamere, Shane Poitras, Jr. and Mackenzie Lee Quinones; 2 great-grandchildren: Alexiana and Amari Azor; and 2 nieces. She was mother of the late Michael Pepin and sister of the late Pauline Languirand.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 9 A.M. Visitation at the church 8-9 A.M., prior to the mass.
