Annie Jane Massey Bruce, 76, of Tifton passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016, at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Bruce at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2016, at Omega Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. James Layfield will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday, October 31, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born June 6, 1940 in Turner County, Mrs. Bruce was the daughter of the late Ernest Massey and Lessie Overby Masser. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Arthur Bruce, Sr.; one son, James Arthur Bruce, Jr.; four brothers; and two sisters. She retired from the greenhouse business and was a member of Omega Church of God. She loved growing and working with flowers.
Mrs. Bruce is survived by one brother, Steve Massey of Omega; and one sister, Lois Bruce of Pineview.
