Christopher F. Austin, 38, of Derry, NH, passed away on Thursday October 27, 2016 in Massachusetts. Christopher was born in Weymouth, MA on August 10, 1978. He grew up down the street from his cousins, maternal grandparents, aunts and uncles. On Holidays and School breaks the family would vacation at “Camp” in Ashburnham, MA at his grandparent’s cabin on Billy Ward Pond.
As an early teen his family moved from Weymouth, MA to Derry, NH, where Christopher went on to graduate from Pinkerton Academy in Derry in 1996. Chris received his Bachelor of Science degree in software engineering in 2007 from Colorado Technical University. He went on to be a Senior Systems Analysts at Wellington Financial.
Christopher was passionate about his music, sports, politics and most of all his Children and family. He had a big heart, a big smile, a big personality and is leaving behind a big whole in our family.
He is survived by his adoring Children Samuel, Maxwell and Abigal Austin of Agawam, MA; loving Parents Sandy and Peter Austin of Derry, NH; Sister Rachel Austin of Derry NH, Brother and sister-in-law Nicholas and Summer Austin; nephews Evan and Vincent Austin.; as well as many more loving family members.
Calling Hours were held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. A memorial service followed at 12:30 pm in the funeral home.
