Winifred M. Spintig age 92 formerly of Canton passed away October 22nd in Miami, FL. Born in Canton, MA she graduated from Dover High School in Dover, NJ. She has lived in Miami for over 50 years where she previously worked as an Elevator Operator for the Eden Rock Hotel in Miami Beach. Ms. Spintig also entertained many people as a singer, using the stage “Winnie Nestle”. She was Volunteer of the Year at Jewish Community Services. We are thankful for the caring staff at Miami Jewish Health Systems who cared for her for so many years. She was loved by her church friends Olga Golik and Roxanne Tebo, and her many feline friends who she cared for. Beloved sister of Charlotte Dickie of Canton, and the late Ida Whiting, Fred, Robert and Jill Spintig, Alice Plant, Harold Harkins, and Laura Ashley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home Thursday November 3rd at 11 am. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery.
