John Albert Mitchell, 87, of Goffstown, died Monday, August 8th 2005 at the Villa Crest nursing facility after a lengthy illness.
Born in Lawrence, MA on June 25, 1918 he was the son of William and Jennie (McNally) Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell worked as the fruit and produce manager for Stop and Shop Groceries for 43 years. More recently, he had worked in the New Hampshire College bookstore.
He has been a resident of Goffstown for over 22 years.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday August 16, 2005 in St. Patrick Church, 138 Coolidge Ave, Manchester. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Barker St., Lawrence, MA.
