Also survived by 9 grandchildren. Brother of John Nolan of Burlington, MA and Eileen Foley of W. Hartford, CT.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8 am.. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 11:15 am. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 pm.

Obituary
Mr. Nolan died Wednesday morning at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Somerset, MA, son of the late James W. and Julia (O’Connell) Nolan. He was raised, educated in Somerset and was a graduate of Somerset High School Class of 1940. He had been a Brockton resident for the past 45 years. During WW II he served in the US Army in the European Theatre. He had been employed for many years by the New England Telephone Company and retired as a line assigner from NYNEX. In his retirement he was a part time consultant for NYNEX. Member of IBEW, VFW Post 1046 Brockton and the AARP. Long time communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. He enjoyed gardening, time spent with his grandchildren and was an avid fan of the Red Sox and the Patriots.
He is survived by 3 sons and two daughters, Ellen Nolan Gard and her husband James of Stoneham; Michael Nolan and his wife Marie of Lakeville; Julie Manning and her partner Robert Young of Whitman; Robert Nolan of Fairfield, CT; and Brian Nolan and his wife Michelle of Boston, 9 grandchildren, a brother John Nolan of Burlington, MA and a sister Eileen Foley of W. Hartford, CT and several nieces and nephews.
