Devoted mother of Stephen and his wife Katherine of South Boston, Paul and his wife Karen of Medfield, Karen and her husband Pat Ceurvels of South Boston, Susan and her husband Robert Kelly of Rochester, NH, Nancy and her husband Edward Burns of South Boston, John and his wife Heather Elliott of Abington, Gail and her husband Edward Coakley of South Boston, Joanne Folk and her companion Scott Ceurvels of South Boston, Sandra and her husband Robert Healey of South Boston and the late baby Michael. Cherished daughter of the late Josie Cleary and Thomas Nee. Dear sister of John Nee, Helen Nee and the late Thomas and George Nee. Loving grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews, her dear cat JoJo and friends Catherine Kuzmich as well as Frannie, Joan Nee, Arline Winton and Sugar Long.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Casper Funeral Home located at 187 Dorchester Street in South Boston on Sunday from 10 AM -2 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday at 10 AM at St. Monica Church in South Boston followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Joanne’s honor to Marian Manor Nursing Home.
