Grace M. Curcio, of Medford died Tuesday, October 25th peacefully at home. Born in Somerville, she is the daughter of the late Ralph and the late Mary (Guilano) Brigida. Grace graduated with the Class of 1955 from Medford High School. She married her husband, the late Lawrence J. Curcio Jr. at St. James Church in 1958. Grace loved to entertain, known for being an excellent cook and will always be remembered for her deep love and devotion to her family.
Grace was the mother to four children; Lawrence J. Curcio III of Medford, Lisa Ann Romano of Salem, Leslie Jean Galasso and her husband, Leo, of Medford, and Lori Jane Sellers and her husband, William, of Virginia. She was the loving grandmother to Jeffrey and Justin Romano, Talia and Nina Galasso, Billy, Grace, and Elizabeth, Sellers. She was also the great grandmother to Bianca Mia Romano. Grace is also survived by her two brothers, Guy Brigida and his wife Ann of Hyannis, and Ralph Brigida and his wife Angela of Franconia, NH. Grace was predeceased by her sister, Ida Marcantonio. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Grace will be held Friday, October 28th from 4 through 8 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, will be held Saturday, Oct. 29th at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Rd., Medford.
