Beulah Evelyn (Fader) Zardiackas 91, formerly of Abington and Old Orchard Beach, ME passed away October 11, 2016 in Grand Junction, Co. She was the beloved wife of the late John Zardiackas.
She was born to Oscar and Annie (Tucker) Fader in Marshfield, MA on February 23, 1925.
Beulah spent her childhood in Abington, graduating from Abington High School, and had worked at a book bindery in Norwell, MA.
Beulah was a former member of the First Congregational Church and the Women’s Club both of Abington. In her retirement she was also a member of the Red Hat Society of Old Orchard Beach, Maine and the Nellie Bechtel 5:01 in Grand Junction, Colorado.
She enjoyed square dancing, gardening, reading and “mischief” and had loved making homemade cookies. She spent many hours at the beach and was a good neighbor.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Gauley and his wife Jean of Grand Junction, CO, Randall Gauley of Plymouth, Thomas Gauley and his wife Jennifer of Whitman and John Gauley of Hull as well as seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her husband John, she was predeceased by her daughter Gail Marie Gauley-Robinson and her brothers George, James, William, Philip and John Fader.
Her memorial service will be held Saturday November 12 at 10:00 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Center Cemetery, Hanover. All other services are omitted.
