Bernardi, Martha “Carolyn” (Chesser), 83, went to be with her Lord on October 21, 2016.
She is a retired Tobacco Worker for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp. She was a worker at S.W.R. in Louisville, KY, and also in Macon, GA. Carolyn was a member of Beechland Baptist Church, and a member of the Five Wives.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Arthur and Amy (Mays) Chesser; her husband, John N. Bernardi Jr.; a son, David W. Bernardi; and a sister, Elizabeth Bray.
Left to cherish her memory are a son, Jimmie L. Richerson ; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Louise Thomasson, and Virginia Broadfoot.
Funeral Services will be Friday at 12:00PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is Thursday 4:00-8:00PM.
