Obituary

John P. “Jack” Fitzgerald 65 of Marlborough and formerly of Natick died Sunday October 23, 2016 at the Brigham andWomen’s Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved son of the late John J. and Marjorie (Phillips) Fitzgerald.

Jack was the Operations Manager of Aquatic Control Technology Inc. retiring in 2012. He was formerly the owner and operator of Fitzgerald’s Mobil Service Station in Newton. Educated in the Natick schools system, he was a graduate of Natick High School with the Class of 1969, and received his B.S Degree in Business from Babson College in 1973.

Jack was a talented cook and enjoyed sharing his wonderfully prepared meals with family and friends. An interior designer, he also had a unique ability to “fix” virtually any household or mechanical item for anyone in need. Jack cherished vacations with his family and had a very special bond with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by two sisters Janet Smith and her husband Gerry of Lancaster, his twin sister Jill Hall and her husband Peter of Natick, nieces and nephews Ryan Hall and his wife Jill, Johanna Smith, and Geoffrey Smith and his wife Charisse, and grand-nieces and nephews Emma, Danny, Colton, and Victoria.

He was also the uncle of the late Shane Hall.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 29 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street at Natick Common. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 11:30 A.M.
