Antonio DeAndrade (88) of Brockton and Santa Catarina, Fogo, Cabo Verde died October 22nd in the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the husband of Armandinha (Vieira) Andrade Monteiro.
He was born in Santa Catarina Fogo Cabo Verde son of the late Marcilino Ribeiro and Jesuina DeAndrade. Antonio was a retail store owner in Cabo Verde and was faithful to the Kingdom Hall and Jehovah Witness Religion. He also loved spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 sons, Marcos DeAndrade of Brockton and Jose Artur Vieira DeAndrade of Angola (Also father of the late Luis Felipe DeAndrade). 3 daughters, Maria DeAndrade and Jesuina Fernandes DeAndrade both of Brockton, Luisa Maria Vieira Monteiro of Fogo, Cabo Verde, also his siblings, Manuel, Lulu, Antoneco, Luisa, Arzindo, Djedje, Fidel, Djosim and Maria, 23 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday October 29th at 10 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Friday October 28th from 5-9 pm.
