Devoted mother of Carolyn Lucas of Roslindale, Irene Reen of Pocasset, Maureen Chisholm of Norwood, George Whooley Jr. and his wife Patti of Medfield, Debra Boyce and her husband David of Parkville, MD, Michael Whooley of Dedham, and the late Robert Whooley. Mother-in-law of Marie Whooley of Holden. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Sister of Virginia Cox of Braintree and John Cox Sr. of Quincy. Sister-in-law of Barbara Cox of Braintree and Bruce MacLellan of Ontario, NY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Member of St. Mary’s Church Sodality.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Thursday, Oct. 27 at 10am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home, Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 4-8pm. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
