Dear aunt of Charles Flynn and Diana Cosgrove of Haverhill, David and Ruth Flynn of Southborough, John Flynn of Salem, William and Nancy Flynn of Melrose, Kathaleen and James Patterson of Holliston, Susan Flynn and Gregory Griffin of Key West, FL, Mary Jane McDonald of Winthrop, John Flynn and Rose Smith of Norwood, Martha Flynn of Naples, FL, Ellen and Joseph DeBiase of Andover, Stephen Flynn of Brockton and the late Peter Flynn. Beloved sister of the late John E., C. Richard, and Herbert D. Flynn. She is also survived by 41 grand nieces and nephews and 41 great grand nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Weds, October 26, from 9:30-11am. A Funeral Mass will follow in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop, at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery-Malden. Mary was a longtime Winthrop resident and enjoyed living by the ocean. She retired from the New England Telephone Co. where she worked in the Bowdoin St. office in Boston as a Manager in the Information Dept. She was a member of the New England Telephone Pioneers of America. She was also a member of the Winthrop Catholic Woman’s Club and very active in St. John the Evangelist Church in Winthrop.
