DOOLEY John J. of Dedham and Cotuit, October 22, 2016. Beloved husband of Carol C. (Walsh) Dooley for 62 years. Devoted father of Jacquelyn Gauthier of Taunton, Christopher G. Dooley and his wife Annamaria of Westwood, Carolyn Sweetland and her husband Michael of Brunswick, ME., and Laurie Corey and her husband Edward of Framingham. Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
WWII Air Force Veteran. John enjoyed extensive travel across Europe, with his wife Carol, post retirement. He loved summering on the Cape in Cotuit and most recently in Naples, Florida every spring. Enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and telling stories about their parents.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home 456 High St. Dedham Thursday, October 27th at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Wednesday, October 26th from 4-8pm. Interment Milton Cemetery.
