Obituary

Phillip J. “Phil From the Mill” Woscyna, 74, of Derry, NH passed away on October 21, 2016 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. Phil was born on August 21, 1942 in New Britain, CT, a son of Andrew and Rita Woscyna. Phil served in the US Army in the Airborne division and owned J. Phillips Const., DBA as PLPG. He worked in Chelmsford, MA as a Property and Construction Manager. Phil adored his family and loved being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time in Pittsburg, NH, snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing. Phil had many friends and belonged to the American Legion, the Tyngsborough Sportsman's Club, and the Fletcher Club.

He is survived by his wife Lori (Berlinski) Woscyna; and was the loving father of Paul Woscyna and his wife Dottie, Gary Woscyna and his wife Shannon, all of Derry; and Bonnie Lincoln of Rochester, NH. Phil loved his six grandchildren, Kristen, Mackenzie, Gavin, Trevor, Mason, and Landon; as well as his siblings, Doug, Christine and Jane.

Following cremation, calling hours were held on Friday, October 28th from 5 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, October 29th at 9:30am in the Holy Cross Church, 187 Hampstead Rd., Derry.
