Worcester – G. Edward Bernier, 83, of Worcester, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 24th in his home.
Mr. Bernier is survived by his wife, Estelle M. (Mathon) Bernier; a daughter, Cheryl Bernier; 2 step children, William Poce and Janet LaRonde both of Worcester; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Ed was born in Leicester, MA son of the late Walter and Rolande (Marquis) Bernier and is also predeceased by 5 brothers, Francis, Robert, Roland, Walter and Joseph Bernier; a step son, Michael Poce and a grandson, Willie LaRonde.
He worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a mental health assistant and previously worked for Custom Fence Company.
Private burial will take place in Notre Dame Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Church 929 Main St. Worcester, MA 01610.
