Dolores M. (Rodrigues) Giammalvo, 90, of Wareham died October 21, 2016 peacefully at Sippican Health Care Center.
She was the wife of the late Victor J. Giammalvo.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Carlos and Mary (Rodrigues) Rodrigues, she lived in Wareham for the last 30 years.
She enjoyed walking and reading.
Survivors include a son, Lawrence Giammalvo and his wife Anne of Wareham; a daughter, Sandra Taber and her husband Dana of New Bedford; 2 brothers, Charlie Rodrigues of Canada and Mario Rodrigues of New Bedford; 3 grandchildren, Trisha Taber, Carl Giammalvo and Scott Giammalvo, 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Paula Giammalvo.
Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 4th at 9 AM in Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
