Lorraine M. LaRose 74, of Woodridge Dr. died October 19, at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of George A. LaRose. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Gertrude (Forcier) Durand. Lorraine was a senior clerk typist for the Registry of Motor Vehicles in Providence for twenty seven years, retiring in 2006. Besides her husband she leaves five sons, Michael Glassey and his wife Diana of Blackstone; Jeffrey Glassey and his wife Beth of Pensacola, FL; Marc Glassey and John Durand both of Woonsocket; and Paul Peloquin and his wife Teresa of Denver, CO; a step-son Allan LaRose and his wife Susan of NH; three step-daughters Susan LaRose of CT, Jeanne and Ellaine LaRose both of Woonsocket; a sister Suzanne Therrien of Woonsocket, eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was also the brother of the late Ronald Durand, and Pauline Jobin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket.
