Adored grandmother of Robert Kneeland, Briana Flannery and her husband Michael Alexander, Nicole Preston and her husband David, Sophia Grayson, Joseph Grasso, Jonathan Grasso, Joshua Grasso, Matthew Moore, Alyssa Moore, Clyde Lambert, Julia Lambert, and Gus Lambert. Dear sister of Helen Jiadosz of Salem, Alice St. Pierre of Danvers, Joe Tarnowski of Salem, and Linda Barr of Beverly. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Mon, October 24, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Winthrop at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Winthrop Cemetery. Visiting hours are in the funeral home on Sun, Oct 23 from 1pm-6pm. Sophie was a member of the Cottage Park Yacht Club Ladies Bowling League, very active in St. John the Evangelist Church where she taught religious education for many years and a member of the Poetry Society of America.
