Lorraine E. (Bernard) Beaupre, a longtime Wilmington resident passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was 89. Born in Holyoke, MA on June 10, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Bella Bernard.
Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Joseph "Roger" Beaupre. She was the devoted mother of Joseph A. Beaupre of Wilmington, and Denise M. Beaupre and her wife Susan of Hampton, NH. She is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her late husband and parents, Lorraine is sadly predeceased by her sister, Rita Bernard.
Lorraine was a devoted member of the Wilmington Garden Club and a tireless volunteer for Meals on Wheels and other charitable groups. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, reading, working on puzzles, listening to Big band Music and sing with her beautiful voice.
Funeral services will be held from the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 374 Main St., WILMINGTON, Monday, October 24th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4 thru 7 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
