Ann F. (Joyce) Flaherty passed on peacefully, Thursday, October 20, 2016. Ann was born, raised and educated in Boston. She moved to Milton in 1962 where she raised her family. She was a former member of the St. Ann Church, Quincy Seniors. Her greatest joy was to babysit her 8 grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of the late Larry Flaherty, the devoted mother of Jimmy of Milton, Marie of Quincy, John and his wife Jeanne of Mansfield, Tom and his partner Lynn and Steve and his wife Mary all of Norwood and Joe Flaherty and his wife Emma of Newton, loving Grammy of Kevin, Chris, Eric, Joe, Sean, Conor, Ethan and Rafe and Sister of Helen Haughey and the late Mary McCarty, Ginny Joyce, Joe Joyce and Dottie Joyce. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton Monday morning at 10:30. Visiting hour at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton 9 to 10AM prior to Mass.
