Janet Lee Holbert, 80, of Ventura, Passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday-October 18, 2016 with her family at her side.
Janet was born November 21, 1935 in Port Huron, Michigan and she was a Ventura County resident for the past 59 years coming from Detroit, Michigan.
Janet was was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and going to the Rubicon Theater to attend plays and performances.
Janet is survived by her children; Richard and Brenda Holbert, Randy and Barbera Hoblert, Robert Holbert, Ronald Holbert, Russell and Samantha Holbert, Jan and Art Morales, Jill Holbert, Julie and David Hogan, Johanna Salazar, and sisters; Esther Stroh, Sandra Asselin, Eleanor taylor, and 33 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; Hannah and Alex Ruppel, Brothers; Arnold Ruppel, Gerald Ruppel, Thomas Ruppel, and sister; Elsie Matthew.
A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday from 12 noon until 4 P.M. at Foster Park on 438 Casitas Vista Rd, Ventura, CA.
Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura.
