Dorothy E. (Balduf) Kleimola, 94, of Walpole died October 18 in her home. She was the wife of the late William Kleimola who died in 2015.
Born in Walpole, September 12, 1922, the daughter of the late Fred and Lillis (Darrow) Balduf, Dorothy was a lifelong Walpole resident.
She was a 1940 graduate of Walpole High School.
After her children were raised, Dorothy worked as an assembler for the Raytheon Corporation for15 years before retiring.
She enjoyed dancing, doing crossword puzzles and playing cards every week with her “old bats “.
Dorothy was also a talented artist who created beautiful Christmas ornaments, enjoyed painting, sketching portraits, and was always doodling.
She is survived by her children William Kleimola and his wife Claire of Walpole, Fred Kleimola and his wife Barbara of Tennessee, Jim Kleimola and his wife Florence of Bourne and Lynn Kleimola of Florida.
She is also survived by her five grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was the sister of the late, Lydia Balduf, Alma Balduf, Jenny McNally, Elsie Cullinane, Evelyn Balduf, Lillian Daly, Lawrence Balduf, Alfred Balduf, Morton Balduf, Ellsworth Balduf, and Frieda Giandomenico.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, October 24 in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main Street, Walpole at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
