WEST BOYLSTON-Paul R. Henault, 81, of West Boylston was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, October 18th surrounded by his family.
Paul leaves his wife of 61 years, Evelyn (Marsh) Henault; six children, Paul W. Henault and his wife, Kate of Southbridge, Lorraine M. Harrington and her husband, Robert of Douglas, George A. Henault and his wife, Nancy of Auburn, Joanne M. Olson and her husband, Charles Washburn of West Boylston, Francine M. Buck and her husband, Brian of Sterling and Jean M. Kennamer and her husband, David of Salem, NH; seven grandchildren, Michael Henault and his wife, Jennifer, Michelle Henault, Kaitlyn Harrington, Christopher Henault, Asa Buck, Christina Kennamer, Ian Washburn; a great-grandchild, Cayden Harrington; a brother, Pierre Henault of Florida; a sister, Sr. Michelle Henault SND of California and nieces and nephews. His daughter-in-law, Donna E. Henault and a son-in-law, Jeffrey K. Olson predeceased him.
Paul was born in Clinton, son of Oscar W. and Gertrude M. (LaPointe) Henault. He graduated from St. John’s High School and Worcester Junior College. He then attended Holy Cross College and graduated from Quinsigamond College with a degree in Criminal Justice.
Paul was an electrical engineer for Montrose Products, US Steel and D.G. O’Brien, before retiring. Paul served the town of West Boylston and Sterling as a part-time Police Officer. He also served as an EMT, EMT Instructor and Firefighter. He served on both the Planning and Zoning Boards in West Boylston. He was a member, lector and CCD Instructor at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 21st from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at FAY BROTHERS Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston St. His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 22nd at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St., West Boylston, MA 01583.
