HOLT, Marcelle (Taupin d’Auge) Of Brookline, born in Paris, France, passed away quietly in her sleep on Oct. 18, 2016.
Devoted mother of Peter Holt of Brookline, Philip Holt and his wife Kathy of Plymouth, and the late Anne Marie Gobiel of Wellesley and the late Christine Bulger of Wellesley. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Marcelle was owner and co-founder of Au Beauchamp Restaurant at 99 Mt. Vernon St., Beacon Hill, Boston. She was a lover of the arts, an amateur sculptor, and was involved with continuing education and literary groups.
Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., (Rt.16) WELLESLEY, Saturday, Oct. 22 from 2-4pm followed by a funeral service beginning at 4pm. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment services private.
