BRIDGEWATER - Anthony Mazzeo Jr., 66, of Bridgewater died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at his home after a brief illness. He was the husband of Eileen A. (Doolan) Mazzeo.
Born March 16, 1939, in Boston, he was the son of the late Anthony Mazzeo Sr. and Mary A. (Untersee) Mazzeo.
Mr. Mazzeo was a graduate of Roxbury High School, Class of 1956.
He was an iron worker with Local 37 in Providence for 30 years.
Mr. Mazzeo was in the U.S. Marine Corp.
He was active in, and a referee for, Bridgewater Youth Soccer Assoc., an avid golfer and was a former member of the Lion's Club.
In addition to his wife Eileen, he is survived by his children, Debra M. Taylor of Freetown, Anthony F. Mazzeo of Franklin, Kristin A. Abrean of Berkley abd Kimberly A. Camara of N. Easton; his sisters, Mary Ricardi of Bellingham and Frances Mazzeo of Raynham; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater, Wednesday at 9 am. Burial to follow at Cedar Knoll Cemetery, Taunton.
Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-8 pm
