Arline D. Wahlstrom, previously of Sutton, age 96, passed way peacefully on October 18th at St. Vincent Hospital.
She was born in Worcester in 1920 to William and Noreen Rogers. Arline was predeceased by her husband Runo Wahlstrom and was also predeceased by her son, Richard.
She is survived by her daughter, Judith Sullivan of Stow, MA; five grandchildren, Justin Wahlstrom and his wife Melissa of Sutton, Kristen Flynn and her husband Shawn of Centerville, David Sullivan and his wife Donna of Westford, Timothy Sullivan of Boston and Wendy Sullivan of Coral Springs, FL; She also leaves five beautiful great grandchildren, Jack and Dominic Sullivan, Thomas and Elizabeth Wahlstrom, and Megan Fowler; She will also be remembered by dear friends at the Colony Retirement Home where she was currently residing.
Arline had been employed at the former Cornell Dubilier Co., of Worcester and retired from Lindquist Tool Co. (now Norton Company). She loved to bowl, play cards and walk the beach at Cocoa Beach, Florida, where she and her husband spent many winters with friends.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Millbury.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 20th from 2:00pm – 4:30pm in the LINDQUIST- LUNDIN Funeral Home, 36 Butler St., Worcester. A prayer service will take place at 4:30pm. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
