WORCESTER-Louis Ethier, 86, of Worcester, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at U-MASS Medical Center. He was predeceased by his wife June Ethier in December, 2000 He is survived by four sons, Alan Ethier of Melbourne, FL, Roy Ethier of Las Vegas, NV, Paul Ethier of Worcester and Philip Ethier of Boylston, and seven grandchildren. He was born in Spencer, son of Alvin and Alice (Gerniatis) Ethier and graduated from Boys Trade School in Pennsylvania. Mr. Ethier was a plasterer for J.S. Prunier and also worked at U-MASS Memorial Hospitals in the in-house construction department. He was a member of the Bricklayer and Allied Craftsmen Union. His longtime and active hobby was making and flying radio controlled planes.
The funeral will be held on Friday, October 21 at 11:00 am at FAY BROTHERS Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A visiting hour will also be held on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
