Lorraine D. Charpentier 81, of Mendon Rd. died October 16, 2016. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Henri and Marie Anna (Berard) Charpentier. Lorraine worked as a LPN for the former Fogarty Hospital for over sixteen years, and then at Mt St Rita Health Center for many years before her retirement sixteen years ago. Lorraine enjoyed reading and doing word search puzzles.
She is survived by her companion Therese “Terry” Gamache of Cumberland, and her beloved pet dog Mandy. Lorraine was predeceased by her sister Pauline Pandolfi.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Friday beginning at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery in Manville. In lieu of flowers donations to American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 or the American Cancer Society, N E Division, 30 Speen St,. Framingham. MA 01701 in her memory would be appreciated.
