FALL RIVER… Alice Helen (Wnenta) Kret of Swansea passed away peacefully on October 13, 2016 at the de Rham Hospice House in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
She was the wife of the late Edward Kret. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late John and Karoline (Kilar) Wnenta. Mrs. Kret was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Church, Fall River.
Alice was a devoted Mother and Grandmother who had a smile for everyone. A manager of Truesdale Radiology on President Ave. for many years, she was also a watercolorist and long-time member of the Fall River Art Association. A great lover of music, the arts, and travel she will be remembered for her generosity and loving nature.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Kret of Boston, her son, Philip Kret and his wife Pinar of Newton Centre, a sister, Phyllis Fortier of Swansea, a brother, John Wnenta of North Carolina, and 2 grandchildren, Ali-Jon and Ayla Lily Kret. She was the sister of the late Helen Kulpa of Somerset.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday at 9 AM from the Boyko Memorial Funeral Home, 709 Broadway Fall River, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 36 Rockland St. Fall River. Inurnment will be private. Calling hours will be held Friday from 7 - 9 PM.
