Theresa M. (Papa) Leger 87, of Natick, died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Metro West Medical Center in Natick.
She was the beloved wife of Robert J. Leger sharing 67 years of marriage.
Born in Waltham she was the daughter of the late Michael and Theresa (D'onofrio) Papa.
Theresa enjoyed crocheting and made beautiful blankets which she would donate to local charities for many years. She was devoted to her family, and provided a warm and loving home, open to all, and was a center point for her large extended family.
In addition to her husband she is survived by six sons; Robert J. Leger Jr. and his wife Catherine of Plymouth, Paul F. Leger and his wife Nancy of Holliston, David S. Leger and his wife Gail Wellford of Franklin, Michael R. Leger and his wife Donna of Plymouth, Richard T. Leger and his wife Wendy Clougherty of Milford, William R Leger and his wife Elizabeth of Augusta Maine; 16 grandchildren Matt Leger, Kelsey Leger , Danny Leger, Heather Leger, Marissa Leger, David Leger, Kristen Proia, Kelly Leger, Hannah Leger, Ricky Leger, Michael Leger , Theresa Boiardi , Derek Clougherty, Erica Clougherty, Abby Leger, Zachary Leger, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Rose Vanaria, Angelo, Joseph, James, and Michael Papa.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Friday October 21st at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common followed by a Mass in St. Linus Church at 10:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
