Joan T. (Delaney) Ford age 71 of Salem, NH, died Monday at her home in Salem.
She was born in Cambridge, MA, where she grew up and attended schools, and graduated from Cambridge Latin in 1951. She was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 35 years, formerly of Arlington & Cambridge, MA.
Mrs. Ford was a retired Real Estate Agent and she had previously worked for Pat Desmarais Realty and Arthur Fortin Realty. She was a very active member of St. Joseph Church in Salem, NH, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and Contact for the Prayer Line. She was also a member of the Christian Women’s Club, and the CBS Community Bible Study in which she ran studies at the Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church. Mrs. Ford traveled throughout New England Giving Testimonials. She was in the process of writing a book called “A Note of Confidence in Gods Work”. She enjoyed the ocean, seashore and loved spending time with her grandchildren. In her teenage years Joan was a World Class speed skater and was the winner of the 1952 Silver Skates in Boston, MA.

7 Grandchildren: Sean Ford, Mary DeMan, Keith Ford, John DeMan, Robert Ford, Lila Rose Ford, and Evan Lugli
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, August 12, 2005 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, August 11, 2005 from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
