David J. Rich, 40, of Pembroke, died on Saturday October 15th. He was the son of Alan E. and Elaine M. Rich.
He was born in Weymouth, grew up in Pembroke a graduate of Silver-Lake High School, Class of 1994 and he also attended Wentworth.
David worked as a foreman for Isaac Blair/Marr for 2 years and he owned Rich Construction Company for 20 years. He loved his childhood home in Pembroke, which he rebuilt.
He was an avid golfer, loved going to the gym, yard work and trees. He also received a scholarship in Hockey from the Silver Lake Alumni in his younger years.
In addition to his parents Alan E. and Elaine M. he is survived by his brother Alan M. Rich and his wife Olga of Pembroke, his niece and nephew Hannah and Cody Rich, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
His funeral services will be held on Thursday October 20th at 10:00AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rt 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, followed by a mass at 11:00AM in the St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan St, Hanson. Burial will follow in the Center Cemetery, Pembroke. Visitation will be Wednesday October 19th from 4:00-8:00PM.
