Obituary

Pauline Morgan Baker, 86, of Fitzgerald died Saturday, October 15, 2016, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 3 P.M., Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Annette Brooks officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.

Mrs. Baker was born December 30, 1929, in Bristol, Tennessee, to the late William Paul Morgan and the late Colleen McDevitt Maxson. She was an automotive bookkeeper for Circle Chevrolet in Red Bank, New Jersey as well as Holler Chevrolet in Winter Park, Florida. She moved to Fitzgerald in 1995. Mrs. Baker loved to crochet, complete puzzles, garden, and was an avid reader. She also loved to bowl when she was younger. She was a member of Pine Level United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters: Dona-Jean Petach, of Freehold, New Jersey and Nancy & Buster Anderson of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Shadow & Lara Moyer, Danielle J. Petach, Dionne & Simon Muckle, Ryan J. & Sara Moyer, Elizabeth A. Moyer-Burns and Brett, and Stephanie Anderson Hall & Chad; great-grandchildren: Kadence Clark, Emma Moyer, Grayson Burns, Waylon Petach Jones, Auryn Burns, Rylan Moyer, and Brynn Burns; and a brother, Robert Morgan of Overland Park, Kansas. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. “Dick” Baker; a daughter, Judith Colleen Mount; a brother, Clyde Morgan; and a sister, Mildred Dickinson.
