A Sister of Charity for 79 years who was missioned in Woodside, Rego Park and Staten Island New York, Renton, Washington and Mount Saint Vincent University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Halifax, Nova Scotia and Renton, Washington, locally Roxbury, Lawrence and at Mount St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills, Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude (Sullivan) Matthews. Sister of William Matthews and the late Cornelius, Charles and Thomas Matthews, Jr. and Catherine Stafford. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Visiting hours at Mt. St. Vincent, 125 Oakland St. Wellesley Hills on Monday October 17 from 9:30 - 10:15 am with a prayer service at 10:15 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:45 am. Relatives and friends are invited.
