Raynham – Karen Lee (Sylvia) Crowther, wife of Stevy Crowther, died at her home on October 11, 2016. She was 64.
Born and educated in Lakeville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Bernice (Cornell) Sylvia.
Mrs. Crowther was employed for many years for Wrentham State Hospital as a nurse’s aide, retiring in 2015.
Karen loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, making puzzles, camping, family vacations and outings, and loved animals.
Survivors include her son Mikel Crowther and daughter Mitzie Crowther, both of Raynham; one brother, Mark Sylvia of AZ; two sisters, Susan Bailey of Middleboro and Debra Molina-Poma of AZ; four grandchildren, Bri Munnis, Rae Ramondetta, Morgan Ramondetta and Anthony Cogliandro, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister to the late John and Michael Sylvia.
Her funeral services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Sunday, Oct. 16th at 6 p.m.
Burial will be private.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, Oct. 16th from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service.
