Obituary

SUDBURY: David Bradley Abbott, 60, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 10, 2016 at his home. He is the son of Mary Lou (Dixson) Abbott of Sudbury and the late Stephen B. Abbott. David is survived by his brother, Mark Abbott and his wife, Lisa of Hudson; his sister, Suzanne Carlson and her husband, Kurt of Medfield; his niece Krista Carlson and his nephew Austin Carlson. He also leaves his aunts, Ethel Abbott of Oneida, NY, and Cora Cramer, uncle Alvah Cramer of Newtown, CT, as well as cousins and extended relatives.
David was born in Monterey, California on April 29, 1956, and resided in Sudbury since 1965. He graduated in 1975 from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School and was employed by Autopart International in Marlboro. David enjoyed spending time with his friends, cooking, summer vacations in Maine, boating and being with the family at the lake. He was loyal to family and friends, being helpful and faithful; he was a sincere person who enjoyed the simple things in life.
David’s family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 10:00 am until 11:00 at the United Methodist Church, 251 Old Sudbury Road (Route 27), Sudbury, MA. All are welcome to attend his funeral service at the church, which will be begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at the Wadsworth Cemetery in Sudbury.
