Rose M. (DiJulia) Gates, 101, of Medford died on Monday, October 10, at Pilgrim Rehab Center of Peabody. A lifelong Medford resident, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Archangela (Rossetti) DiJulia.
Rose was the beloved wife of the late Ernest P. Gates, and the devoted mother of Ann Kearney and her late husband Robert, Ernest P. Gates Jr. and his wife Diane of Middleton. She was the loving grandmother of Leanne Petrosillo and her husband Gerald of Metheun, Stephen Kearney and his wife Christina of Northborough, Michelle Delling and her husband Chris of East Kingston, NH, Julie Gates of Peabody, Gia Cyrier and her husband Jeremy of Andover, David Rosenberg and his wife Ronda of Wichita, KS, and the loving great grandmother of Robert, Frankie, Christopher, Matthew, Madison, Shannon, Colin, Natalia, Giorgio, Valentina, GianCarlo, Sierrsha and Brenna. Loving aunt of Joseph DiJulia.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, October 15 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, October 14 from 4 \through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
