WORCESTER-Frances C. (Ferguson) Moran, 85, of 27 Mt. Vernon Street, died Sunday, August 7 in Autumn Village. Her husband John T. Moran died in 1989. She leaves a brother, Walter Ferguson, three sisters, Margaret McCarty, Alice Geneau and Isabel McQuade, all of New Brunswick, several nephews and nieces including Phyllis Swazey of New Brunswick, several great nephews and nieces, and a special friend Theresa Grzybowski of Worcester.
She was born in Canada the daughter of Turney and Mary (Hathaway) Ferguson. Mrs. Moran was a dietary technician for various nursing homes.
The funeral will be Wednesday, August 10 with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Bernard’s Church, 228 Lincoln Street. Burial is in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 AM the morning of the funeral in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street. In lieu of flowers contribuitons may be made to St. Bernard’s Church Renovation Fund, 236 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
