Pamela J. Conley, of Hampton, NH, formerly of Woburn passed away October 11, 2016, at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire following brief illness. She was 54 years of age. Born in Winchester she was the cherished daughter of the late William C. and Maureen C. (Garvey) Carney, Sr.
Pamela was affectionately known as Gammy to her loving grandson and Auntie P to her nephew, niece and cousins. She loved to travel with family and friends and especially enjoyed trips to Ireland. She was an avid reader and was most happy spending time by the ocean sitting on the beach. Pamela will fondly be remembered for her generosity to family, friends and strangers. She also had a special love of dogs, particularly her little Molly.
Pamela is survived by her beloved son, Sean Conley of Hampton, NH. She was the loving grandmother of Seamus Conley of Medford. Sister of Colleen Edmonds and her husband Geoffrey of Bloomfield Hills, MI, William C. Carney, Jr. and his wife Tiffanie of Rye, NH. Aunt of Brian C. Edmonds, Bayley Chase and the late Meghan H. Edmonds. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 15th, in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, will be held on Friday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Interment services will be private. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Pamela's memory to the M.S.P.C.A., 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
