In Taunton, October 11, 2016 Hiram E. Young Jr., Age 92, Passed away in his home peacefully with his loving family by his side. Hiram was preceded in death by his beloved wife Winifred (Griswald) Young. He was born in Berkley, the son of the late Hiram E. & Maud E. (Harrison) Young. Hiram was educated in Berkley schools. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Following the service he moved to Taunton where he resided until his passing. Hiram worked for I.C.I. America in Dighton. He enjoyed camping, traveling and cherished his time with family, especially his two granddaughters. Hiram is survived by his loving son Robert Young and his wife Ann of Berkley. He also leaves his grandchildren Ann-Marie LeFaivre and her husband Neil of Berkley and Courtney Young of Berkley. He leaves his great grandchildren Blake and Luke LeFaivre of Berkley. Hiram leaves his sister Shirley Enos and her husband Richard of Taunton and his late siblings Willian Young, Anita Craven, Doris Amaral, Alice Mendoza, Patricia Jones and Adelbert Young. A funeral home service will be held on Friday, October 14th at 11 am. in the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday from 4-7 pm. Burial will be in the family lot in Berkley Common Cemetery in Berkley.
