Alice C. (Levesque) Audet, 89 of Marblehead and formerly of Salem, passed away peacefully at The Lafayette in Marblehead on Sunday October 9, 2016. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Audet.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Philip A. Levesque and the late
Eleanor (Roach) Levesque Ankeles. Upon graduating from Ste. Chretienne Academy in Salem, Alice attended Marymount College in New York and the Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. After raising her children, Alice started working at the Salem Superior Court and subsequently retired from there. Through the years, Alice volunteered countless hours to numerous
charities, including the Assumption Guild. Alice also enjoyed entertaining for her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at The Lafayette, All Care VNA of Lynn and Confidential Care for their support and the outstanding care and compassion given to Alice.
She is survived by her four children, Adele Audet of Marblehead, Philip Audet and his wife Diane of Austin, TX, Andrea Belanger and her husband Michael of Beverly, and Alissa O’Meara and her husband Michael of Sherrill’s Ford, NC. She also leaves seven grandchildren: Monet Brewerton-Palmer and her spouse Sarah, Taylor Brewerton, Derek, Jonathan and Molly Belanger, Ellie and Abby Audet, a brother and sister, Paul and Suzanne Levesque of Salem, as well as nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. (Route 114/1A) Salem on Friday at 9:30 AM to be followed by her funeral mass in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
