Obituary

Rose Marie (DePlacido) Caso Turino died on Sunday, October 9, at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center of Medford. Raised and educated in Boston's North End, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Emanuella (DeLucia) DePlacido. Rose Marie worked as an Italian interpreter for Haymarket Cooperative Bank, and sang soprano at Sacred Heart Church. She moved to Medford in 1958, and later settled in Lynnfield.

Rose Marie was the devoted mother of Phillip Caso and Marilyn Caso Forde Romeo. She was the loving grandmother of George Forde and his wife Lynn, Seán Forde and his wife Kathleen, and the loving great grandmother of Brendan, Madison, Liam and Emma. Rose Marie was sister of the late Catherine Rossetti and Anthony DePlacido, and former wife of the late Anthony Caso and Joseph Turino. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, October 13 at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the funeral home from 10 - 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
