Richard E. Brayton, 65, of Tiverton, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at home. He was the son of Beverly T. (Fowler) Brayton of Tiverton and the late Rodney O. Brayton, Jr.
Mr. Brayton was born in Providence, RI and had been a lifelong resident of Tiverton. He enjoyed working on cars and loved participating in truck-pulls with his truck, “Magic Touch.”
Survivors along with his mother include 4 brothers: David Brayton of FL, Barry Brayton and Douglas Brayton, both of Tiverton and Todd Brayton of Cumberland, RI; 4 sisters: Cynthia Cordeira of Tiverton, Judith Lemieux of Dartmouth, Bonnie Sage of Portsmouth, RI and Sally Grant of Boston; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Potter Funeral Home at 7:30 P.M.
Calling hours will be from 5-7:30 P.M., at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
