Catherine Nadeau, 61, of Salem, NH, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA surrounded by her loving family. Catherine was born in Lawrence, MA on February 24, 1955, a daughter of the late Gaston and Elizabeth (Sarcione) Vaillancourt. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, being involved in all church activities, camping and playing pokeno with her lady friends.
Surviving family members include her husband, Claude G. Nadeau; two sons, Shawn M. Nadeau and his fiance’ Michelle Pouliot, Christopher D. Nadeau; two grandchildren, Amber and Landon; two sisters, Michelle Ackroyd and her husband Jim and Christine Sylvian and her husband, Maurice as well as aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 4:00 pm to7:00 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. A Funeral service was held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 10:00 am, with cremation to follow.
