Paulina (Alves) Faria, 67, of Raynham, passed away on Friday October 7, 2016 at Morton Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jose A. Faria.
Born in Faial, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Tomas Silveira and Maria Augusta (Gomes) Alves.
Paulina retired from Texas Instruments after 40 years of employment. She was currently employed part time with Wheaton College in the food service department.
Paulina enjoyed family vacations in Old Orchard Beach and also loved to collect rocks from Newport RI, which she used in her own flower garden. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her family.
Mrs. Faria is survived by her loving children, Sandra M. Faulkner, Steven A. Faria, both of Taunton and Michelle M. Bettencourt of North Dighton; she was the loving grandmother of Lauren, Logan, Aiden, Cole, Tyler and Quinn. She was also sister to Maria Angela Goulart of FL.
Mrs. Faria’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 12th at 9 a.m. from Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, Taunton.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, October 11th from 4 to 7 p.m.
