Sylvia Mae (Utley) Reed,73, of Anderson, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2016.
She was born on September 18, 1943 in Black Duck, MN, the daughter of Frank Hardman and Dora Arletta (Page) Utley. She was a teacher and retired in 2005 from Anderson Community Schools after teaching kindergarten for 35 years. She was a member of Madison Park Church of God. She enjoyed teaching, spending time with her family and working at the Dolphin Club.
She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Reed, whom she married November 16, 1962, and three children; Bryan (Debbie) Reed, Brent(Cara) Reed, and Barbara Reed; 5 grandchildren Kristina Reed, Elizabeth Reed, Blayke Reed, Cassie Reed, Michael (Bryanna) Garner; 4 great grandchildren; Evangeline Hines, Daylin Pimentel, Bryan Pimentel, and Aeva Pimentel; 3 siblings; Vicky (Brian) Hildebrand, Steve (Lee Ann) Utley, and Richard (Cindy) Utley, and family friend, Jeannette DeVore.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Phil Reed officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 4-7 PM and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund.
