Ioannis "John" Patzakas, 62, of Biloxi, MS, formerly of the Roslindale area died suddenly on August in Biloxi,MS. He was a commercial fisherman. He is survived by his chidren, Maria Gillis of W. Roxbury,Konstantinos Vazakas of W. Roxbury,Eleni Mehanna of Boston, Asimina Patzakas of Roslindale and a grandchild, Anastasia Gillis. He is the brother of Eleutheria Pesiridis of Arlington & Despina Basiakou of Greece.He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held on friday Aug. 5, 2005 in St. John the Baptist, Hellenic Orthodox Church, Union Park St., South End. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
