Roberto Masci, 88 of Somerville died Sunday after a long illness in the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center Revere, MA.
Born in Italy, he lived in Somerville since 1956 and was the son of the late Maria (DelBono) and Silviano Masci. He was a Pressman, employed by the former B.F. Goodrich Tire in Watertown.
Beloved husband of Assunta (Giuliani) Masci. Devoted father of Ivo Masci and his wife Ida, Vera Couras and her husband Robert all of Somerville, Maria Cristina Pascuccio and her husband Mario of Woburn, Barbara Mirabello of Tewksbury, Sonia Pearsall and her husband Frank of Hillsboro, NH. Also survived 17 loving grandchildren and 8 Loving great grandchildren.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Benedict Church, 21 Hathorne St., Somerville, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with entombment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
